About

Hi, I'm Darren Sabadina, but you can call me Sabba.

I moved from Far North Queensland to Sydney, Australia, in 2006 after being accepted into NIDA.

Since graduating in 2009 I have performed in film, television, theatre and most recently voice acting.

I won't go into too many details now, though you can see my full list of credits here. Though I will take this time to highlight some of the roles that I am most proud of;

  • I was the Voice of the Marriage Equality Postal Vote Campaign which was featured prominently on TV, Radio, and online,
  • I was lucky enough to tour the country in the International production of "Mr Stink" Written by David Walliams, and
  • I was honoured to perform at the Old Fitz in "The Night Alive" produced by the O'Punksky's Theatre team.

Aside from my own goals in the industry I am passionate about empowering Australia's youth and the reach we have on an international scale. I am currently working with NIDA and their OPEN PROGRAM and have  recently been teaching as a 'Artist in Residence' in rural communities.
